Bethanne Droppert

Bethanne worked as a Project Manager in Health Research with a focus on Health Behaviour Change. She focused on areas such as smoking cessation, physical activity and nutrition.

Bethanne also specializes in training pregnant women. Physical activity during pregnancy helps prepare the mother and baby for labour, reduces the chance of gestational diabetes, and enhances postpartum recovery.

Bethanne has a passion for health, nutrition and physical fitness. Personal training gives her the opportunity to share this enjoyment with others. One of her personal mottos is: Look good, feel good, and have fun doing it!

Josh Droppert

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (3rd year, UW), Pre-health Professions Option


Josh has been training for Peak Fitness since the spring of 2006. He has had years of experience with exercise and physical activity and has been involved in many competitive sports.

His studies and labs in kinesiology have given Josh the opportunity to observe first-hand how individual quality of life can be enhanced through exercise. Josh has focused his studies on sports medicine and muscle physiology with a long term goal of becoming a physiotherapist.

Shane is a graduate of kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and specializes in the study of muscle physiology as it pertains to exercise.

During his years at University, Shane was a competitive Track and Field athlete who has competed in 3 national championships and has a varsity record to his name. He is currently putting his talent and experience to work as a coach for the varsity team at the University of Waterloo.

Shane's personal training career started at the University of Waterloo training students, staff and athletes, and his resume now includes hundreds of success stories. Shane's enthusiasm for fitness is only exceeded by the joy he gets from the success of his clients.
